We are looking for volunteer participants for a new course "Learning at Graduate School of Hokkaido University" newly opened in 2024!

It is deeply appreciated for your voluntary participation in improving the course content! Your voluntary participation will help to further enhance your graduate school life.

北海道大学では、大学院生の皆さんに、入学後すぐに学修を進めていく際の基礎となる知識、技術、心構えを身に付ける機会を設けるために、2024年度入学者から新規科目を開設します。開設にあたり、トライアルとして在校生の皆さんに授業を受講していただき、そのご意見をもとに授業改善を行いたいと考えています。

Hokkaido University will offer a new course to graduate students starting in the 2024 academic year in order to provide them with an opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitude that will serve as a foundation for their academic studies after entering the university. Before officially opening the class, a trial class is open for volunteer students and improve the class based on your feedback.

・全5回の授業（全てオンデマンド）

・授業毎に小テスト（５問中４問正解で合格）

・参加登録は不要ですので、参加される方は期間内に動画の視聴と小テストの回答をお願いします。

・Five lessons (all on demand)

・A quiz will be given in each class (4 out of 5 questions must be answered correctly to pass).

・Registration is not required, so please watch the videos and answer the quiz within the trial period.

・The details of the class contents are as follows.

【授業内容 Course Content】

目的：全ての大学院での学びに必要な知識、技術、情報を大学院共通授業科目として開講することで、学生がこれらの必要事項を確実に修得することを目的とする。

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to ensure that students acquire the knowledge, skills, and information necessary for studying at all graduate schools by offering them as a course of inter-graduate school classes.

授業形態と成績評価：全ての授業はELMS Moodleを利用してオンデマンド形式で配信。小テストを各回（第０回を除く）で実施し、通常の11段階評価ではなく、合否で判定（５問中４問以上の正解で合格）。不合格の場合は合格するまで再受験可能。なお、本科目は単位とはならないので、修了要件等の単位数に含めることはできない。

Course Format and Grading System: All parts of the course are delivered on demand by ELMS Moodle. A quiz is administered at each part (except for Part 0) to determine pass/fail (4 or more correct questions out of 5 will pass), instead of 11-level grading (A+-F). If you fail, you shall take the quiz again until you pass. This course is noncredit, then the course does not contribute credits towards an academic degree.

修了証明:：全授業回（５回）の小テストに合格で修了。修了はデジタルバッジで証明。

Completion Certification: Pass the quizzes in all five parts to complete the course. The completion is certified with a digital badge.
