BMAS2023 in Sapporo

35th Symposium on Biomedical-Analytical Science

From Chair

　This symposium was inaugurated in 1973 as the "Symposium on Analytical Chemistry of Biomolecular Components" and renamed to "Symposium on Biomedical-Analytical Science" (BMAS) in 2001, and this year marks its 35th anniversary. We are honored to be able to hold this conference in Sapporo in this milestone year of the first half century since its establishment.


　BMAS focuses on research related to biomedical applications based on the field of analytical science. Presentations are made on separation and analytical techniques such as HPLC and mass spectrometry for bioanalysis and clinical chemistry. In recent years, new analytical science researches are presented, such as pharmacokinetics and bioanalysis for drug discovery, bioimaging for clinical diagnosis, and omics analysis. It is expected that researchers and students from industry, government, and academia engaged in these biomedical fields will participate widely to actively discuss and deepen exchanges for further developing this research field.


　BMAS2023 will be held on July 28-29, 2023, at Hokkaido University Conference Hall. We are planning special lectures, symposiums, general lectures (oral and poster), company exhibitions, and an industry-academia-government collaboration symposium on July 27. We sincerely look forward to your registration.
