Search for available jobs. Use teachers' suggestions, school counselors, and sites below to begin looking for opportunities. Narrow down the options based on your criteria determined in step 2.
Apply for jobs! Some companies prefer paper applications or in-person applications, while others use online forms. Tailor your resume to each opportunity and include any needed documentation such as school schedule, transcript, reference information, etc.
Prepare for the Interview. If an interview is required for the job opportunity, plan ahead on what you will wear and what types of questions that may be asked. Plan your route and ensure you arrive on time. Take copies of your resume and any other relevant materials to the meeting.
