The meter, pipe and boxes projecting off the west side of the Traffic Box called for a different design solution than what was originally proposed. Influenced by questions of curious people, Jan and Aaron decided to paint a less abstract version of the bicycle. The shape was a better fit for that irregular side of the traffic box, while providing a clue to the underlying design.
