Welcome to the website of York Community High School's Interact Club! Interact Club is the high school branch of Rotary International and shares Rotary's motto of "service above self." York Interact Club works closely with and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Elmhurst. We are one of the three service clubs at York.
Throughout each year, York Interact Club volunteers and fundraises for a few student-selected charities. You can see some of the organizations we have supported in the past here. We are always looking for new groups to help, and if you have ideas, please let us know at a meeting or by filling out the form here. Join us to discover exciting volunteer opportunities, make new friends, gain leadership experience, and create positive change! We are open to everyone, and new members are always welcome.

In March, leaders Elise Moran and Ellie Wiygul organized a virtual dance marathon to raise money for Lurie Children's Hospital.
In the fall we collected gently used and new children's books. Brigid O'Brien and Eleni Panoushis helped organize and deliver them. We donated over 1200 books to Onward Neighborhood House, Yorkfield Food Pantry and an elementary school in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago
Interact club members wrote letters of encouragement to residents at a local nursing home in the fall. Leader Juliana Turner delivered them.
We "adopted" 2 families at Christmas--everyone was so generous.
We collected food donations for Elmhurst Food Pantry.
We will participate in the Elmhurst Relay for Life in June--we have been raising money for the team all year
