Welcome to Honors Biology!

Biology is a fascinating and intriguing area of study. This course will open the door to a lifetime of understanding and appreciation of the marvels of the natural world. It will emphasize central biological concepts in a comprehensive framework, stress higher order thinking skills, and show the relevance of biology to everyday occurrences. The major biological themes to be covered are: The Nature of Science, Homeostasis, Cells, Development, Genetics and Heredity, Evolution, Biochemistry, and Energy.
