Project SEARCH is an internship program that helps students learn employability skills through classroom work and three 10-week internships. The goal is for the student to obtain competitive employment upon completion of the program. Elmbrook students, upon completion of high school, have access to four Project SEARCH sites; Children’s Hospital, Froedtert Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee County Zoo and Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Project SEARCH is a collaborative partnership between the business, Elmbrook Schools, DVR and often a young person’s long-term care organization. All participants must be connected with DVR for services.
