We're a First Lego League Challenge, (FLL), team. We're a team of 5 7th graders and 3 4th graders who are working on helping our world and advancing robotics to a new level! We competed in Regionals, Sectionals, and State.  This year we won our State competition and are going to WORLDS in Houston, TX!

W.A.T.T. Emergency Electric System

This year we are working on an Emergency Lighting System a.k.a W.A.T.T., Water Activated Turbine Technology. We are going to use the water flow all around a house, and turn it into Electricity using turbines. Water goes through a pipe, which makes the turbine turn, which spins a generator, ultimately creating electricity. If a black-out happens, then the stored up electricity will be distributed to LED strips around the house. The strips will help the person move the in dark without blindly bumping into things. This solution will help with black-outs around the world!  More details about W.A.T.T. are at the next page.

S.C.A.R. - Our Robot!

Our robot is named S.C.A.R. - Super Cool Awesome Robot. It has 2 attachment motors and 2 large motors. S.C.A.R. has a forklift that has a hug slide feature on it! It also has "The Grabber", which deposits water modules and energy tokens.  We use some plug-and-play and passive attachments to gain points in the robot game too!  Our robot has 1 Gyro Sensor and 2 Color Sensors.
