Introduction to core values

Robot game and and presentations aren't the only things you need to have ready in competition, you need to be supportive to other teams as well as yours. Here are the core values:

Discovery

We took field trips to learn more about what we need for our project and research.

We learned about OHM'S LAW and took measurements on our circuit.  We also learned how to solder and use electrical tape.

We learned 3D modeling and how to put dimensions on things so that our turbine actually fits in the box like we expect it to.

Innovation

Innovating our robots attachments by solving problems that our attachments have like not working, falling apart, and falling off the robot.  We also learned how to save time on robot runs by making the attachments and the robot wheels move at the same time.

Impact

We helped a rookie team at our school by teaching them how Lego League works and sharing our Legos.

We helped judge and set-up the Burleigh Scrimmage for our Lego Explore friends.

We helped a Wisconsin Hills Middle school team with their presentations.

We taught a 1st grade class about robotics and did a STEM activity.

We are sharing our Lego League Season experiences with the  community through this website!

Inclusion

We shared our team's success with others at the Elmbrook circle of friends event. During our season every Thursday we shared our progress with our Lego Explore friends.  We really enjoyed mock judging the FLL explore kids before their scrimmage because we got to help them prepare for Q&A.

Teamwork

We worked together to code and create a project, as well as our script. Each of us had an important role on the team, some of us worked on script or robot, and some of us worked on the project, then we'd swap roles and help each other start off on what where doing.

Fun

We walked in the 4th of July parade with Team Hazmat and Beast Robotics. At the start of the preseason we had a egg hunt, each egg had a piece of paper in it that had a word that was, energy type, a core value, or an everyday mechanical thing like a car. We had to make HILARIOUS accents, so funny 😂!

We have parties to celebrate when we move onto the next competition!
