Printmaking is a process that allows artists to make multiple editions of the same design using different techniques. Mixed media promotes creating artworks with a variety of 2D and 3D materials.
In Printmaking, an original design is applied to a reusable surface such as linoleum, plexiglass, wood, or silkscreens.
Silkscreen, for example, allows for students to make original wearable pieces of art such as t-shirts, bags, hats, and more.
Recommended for students who are interested in: photography, drawing/painting, collage, and graphic design.
Yearbook Production and Design is a year-long, alternate-day class focused on capturing the events of the year at BEHS.
Students collaborate and take on roles and responsibilities with varying leadership positions (Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Photography Editor, Social Media Manager, Design Team, etc.)

AP Art History is an introductory college-level art history course. *Students who take the CollegeBoard AP Exam may earn college credit at the end of their experience.
Students cultivate their understanding of art history through analyzing works of art and placing them in historical context.
Recommended for students who are interested in: history, geography, psychology, sociology, anthropology, etc.
AP Art & Design students create a portfolio of college-level work and submit it for evaluation (instead of taking a year-end AP Exam).
A qualifying portfolio score can earn students college credit, advanced placement, or both.
