“Supporting educational excellence and innovation for students in the School District of Elmbrook by building community and business partnerships."
About the EEF
The Elmbrook Education Foundation (formerly known as the Lancer-Spartan Scholarship Foundation) was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Elmbrook School District high school graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include innovative teacher grants for projects that would benefit all students, raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools.
The Elmbrook Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The EEF has awarded $1,600,000 in scholarships to Elmbrook students and given $620,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the District's budget. The EEF accomplishes its mission by partnering with parents, teachers, administrators, community members, and businesses throughout the year, highlighted by four annual fundraising events: Boos & Ghouls Night Out and Wine Walk, Ladies Night, Explore STEAM, and the Elmbrook Golf Open.
In addition, the EEF partners with The Corners of Brookfield to bring Thank You Thursday, a staff appreciation event throughout the months of February and March.
Complementary to our PTOs, whose focus are the schools they serve, the EEF takes a District-wide approach, with recent initiatives including support for the Nature Center, incorporation of coding into the K-5 curriculum, sensory tool kits in the elementary classrooms, replacement of musical instruments, partnering with Elmbrook’s LAUNCH program, Elmbrook musical program and shared theatre and production equipment, Thank You Thursday and so much more.
