Academic Advising

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your continued patience as we work through our transition to a new student information system, Infinite Campus. We understand that changes like this take time to adjust to, and we appreciate your understanding throughout the process. Over the summer, I have been learning the new system and feel confident that we will have student schedules ready for the upcoming school year (2025-2026). However, because of this transition, we may not be able to address all scheduling questions or requests during the summer months as thoroughly as we we have in the past. I ask that you please be patient with me as I am trying to ensure every student has a full schedule as well as help support our teachers and administrators with the beginning of the school year.

We will release all student schedules through the student and parent portals on August 4th!  My time is very limited throughout the first day of school, but I will provide a link to my calendar to make appointments for advising. 

Students will have the first 3 days of the semester to make any necessary change requests. I will not make any changes  after Friday, August 15th at 3:30pm!

Surry Community College courses do not start until August 18th. We will give all juniors their SCC schedule on the first day of school. 

Course Update for 2025–2026:

Due to course numbers and changes in staff, the following courses will not be available during the 2025–2026 school year.

*If your student requested one of these courses, they will be given an opportunity to choose an alternative that fits their schedule.
