26-27 Student schedules will be released in Infinite Campus on Monday, August 3, 2027!
All schedule correction requests must be approved by a parent/guardian.
July 28th-July 30th- Appointments are available for new families enrolling at Elkin High School!
Monday, August 3rd- Student schedule release date!
August 3rd-August 11th- Appointments are available to meet with any EHS family who wishes to discuss their schedule
Monday, August 10th- Open House from 9-12 pm. I will meet with families as needed. No appointments necessary.
Wednesday, August 12th- School Starts
Thursday, August 13th- SCC Orientation from 6-8 pm at the Elkin Center. All junior families must attend if they plan to take a college course; seniors have the option.
Friday, August 14th at 3:30 pm- Deadline for all schedule correction forms

Career Exploration
EHS Students in 9th-12 grade take a variety of assessments in NC Careers to help them explore their interests, skills, and values. These assessments combine to give them a list of suggested careers to explore education, wages, growth rate and more.
Course Planning
Course Planning
EHS students are encouraged to review their career development plans with their families and school counselor each year to ensure their academic high school course plan meets graduation requirements and alligns with their goals.
College Readiness
College Readiness
EHS Students utilize CFNC during their 11th and 12th grade year to explore NC Colleges and Universities. Our seniors use CFNC to complete college application, complete NC residency, apply for scholarships, and send transcripts to colleges.

Juniors and Seniors please review the CCP booklet for college course availablity. There will be some minor changes for 2026-2027.
Students have opportunities for pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and more!
