Through our partnership with Athena Manufacturing, Elgin P-Tech students will be able to learn from industry experts in the welding profession. Students will have access to state of the art equipment and facilities, they will have internship opportunities, and are guaranteed a job interview upon completion of the program.
WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
(Texas Workforce Solutions provide workforce development services that help workers find and keep good jobs, and help employers hire the skilled workers they need to grow their businesses. Through our partnership with Workforce Solutions, students in the P-TECH program will be provided with the latest and most up to date information about welding jobs in the greater Austin area.
OnePointe Solutions
OnePointe solutions is a local partner that has opened up their facilities for our students to learn about their business and on-site welding facilities. They build high quality laboratory, industrial, and commercial furniture. We value our partnership and appreciate their committment to working with our students.
SOUTHSIDE MARKET
(Southside Market Barbeque is a local restaurant that will provide Junior and Senior students work-based learning opportunities as they fabricate their own barbeque smoker pits in class. Southside Market will also support and mentor our students as they compete in local barbeque competitions.)
