Enhancing Learning Opportunities
Educational technology can bring excitement, engagement, and a deeper understanding of the content being taught. With support of digital learning tools, Elgin ISD students are being given greater opportunities to have a life changing experience for all. It is the goal of the Elgin ISD Digital Learning Team to support teachers, staff, and administration to develop and encourage students to be global citizens of the 21st century. Where soft skills, like collaboration, creativity, and confidence are developed alongside their daily academic lessons.
The site is resource for teachers and staff to develop their skills and find support to increase their technology integration in their classrooms and lessons. Resources shared during workshops, training, and learning opportunities can be found here, as well as, resources for many of the educational technology tools that are available to students, teachers, staff, and administrators. Technology is the not answer to increasing student's success, but it can be a key component to advance the learning and increase learning opportunities for all students.
