FEMM Hub Conference 2023

We are pleased to announce the 2023 FEMM Hub Conference will take place on Tuesday the 28th of November in Birmingham at the IET's Austin Court.

The 2023 FEMM Hub Conference is taking place at the IET Austin Court in Birmingham (80 Cambridge Street, Birmingham, B1 2NP).

Accessibility 

Accessibility is well-considered at Austin Court with lifts, ramps, hearing and visual assistance, and nearby transport links. Location of the step free entrance can be found here: https://what3words.com/float.roof.orbit

All presentations during the conference will take place within the Kingston Lecture Theatre which is tiered. It is however wheelchair friendly with space for up to four wheelchairs. 

For anyone attending who is hearing impared, please get in touch as we can request equipment that works with an infrared system. The equipment is compatible with T-button hearing aids and will create a personal loop for you.

Quiet Room:  We have a dedicated quiet room available on the day of the conference located in the Brindley room which is available for any of our conference delegates.

Agenda

Our Keynote speaker is Professor Jurgen Fleischer from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. We also have 3 different sessions taking place which will focus on: Manufacturing of electrical machines; Sustainable manufacture of electrical machines and Emerging Technologies as well as a networking drinks reception to close the event.
