Martin Muñoz has been the Band Director for the El Dorado Public Schools since 2008, overseeing band instruction for grades 5-12. He is a graduate of Wichita State University with a BME in December 1991.

Mr. Muñoz was honored by the El Dorado Public Schools as its winner of the "School Bell award" in 2011, and as its "Teacher of the Year" for the 2012-2013 school year.

Professional memberships include, The Kansas Music Educators Association, and the National Education Association.

My Hobbies include, spending time with my wonderful wife Diane, of 31 years and my kids, Daniel, Jenna, Brooke & my grandson, Jayden. I like watching NASCAR , Bravo TV, riding my motorcycle, getting together with my brothers whenever I can and working outside.

My philosophy on teaching band. "When I stop having fun, it's time to move on". I truly love my job.
