Promotion

An eighth grade student must pass all four core classes; Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies in order to be recommended for promotion. The final grade in May is the determining grade for any of the courses. An eighth grade student who fails any core classes will not be recommended for promotion and must attend summer school.
