Counseling Services

Guidance services, including personal, educational, and career counseling, are available to all students. Parents are also welcome to confer with the counselors. The purpose of the guidance department is to :

• Assist students in understanding themselves
• Assist students in developing social skills
• Assist students with personal issues
• Assist students in the exploration of careers

Students are encouraged to arrange an appointment with the counselors. Parents and teachers may also wish to consult the counselors concerning a student's academic or family situation.

Counselors are also able to set up time for parents to meet with their student's team of teachers.

We (Mrs. Paye and I) will be available to help you with enrollment starting August 5th and continuing until school starts. Feel free to call us or come in and visit about your child's enrollment. New students to the district (or incoming 6th graders) may want a tour of the building before school starts and we are also available to show off our school.
