Due dates will be spread-out over the week in order to help with pacing and not overwhelm you. Each unit's ending, primary assignment will be broken-up into mini assignments, spread-out throughout the unit, spread-out throughout the week(s) of the unit. They will build into each other or with each other to help you create and be successful with your end-unit assignment. Therefore, it may seem like you have more homework than you actually do since you are being asked to submit the steps you would have done on your own in order to be helped with those steps to help with the success of your large, unit assignment.
Note: The dates listed in this class reflect United States Pacific Standard Time (PST). Additionally, the class runs on a Monday through Sunday schedule, PST. Please, adjust accordingly to your time zone. You can set your own time zone for your user account and have your local time zone display throughout Canvas's assignments and the Calendar tab by following this tutorial.

These are just the typical days when assignments are due. If you have other obligations or do not want to work on a certain day, you may certainly turn-in an assignment early.
Now that you know the general schedule of assignments as listed above, it is highly recommended that you do not start an assignment the day that it is due. Please, spread it out to complete it easier. For instance, the amount of work it will take to complete a discussion forum on a Friday will probably take longer than your available time on Fridays, so start the work earlier to avoid or lessen stress.
This is an asynchronous class, meaning there are no set class meeting times. All material will be presented for you to work with on your own time, and your only schedule is the due dates for assignments. FYI: Canvas provides due times of 11:59 pm. They really mean 11:58 pm since at 11:59 pm they close the assignment.
Student hours are times set aside each week for students in our class to be able to drop into Zoom to ask questions, get help, or just chat.
Please, check the Canvas Calendar for the available student hours with me for the link, along with the Zoom link to access the meeting.
