On ReThink Certification Program - Cohort III - December 2023

In Training Teachers, Existing Teachers looking to up-skill, other professionals looking to shift to education can join the program.

This is an up skilling course that empowers you with 21st century skills that an educator needs. In contrast to a traditional B.Ed Program that has a theoretical approach, this program focusses on core skills. The focus in on learning by doing and you'll take back concrete actions and strategies you can implement in the classroom for effective learning. You'll build the mindset of an educator and the confidence you need to step in the classroom. 

The program has 4 key components - Live Instructor Led Training, Self Paced Learning, Study Groups and Capstone Projects. 

Teaching profession has undergone tremendous changes over the last few years. Teachers are no longer just subject matter experts - rather they help students find their passion, look for ways to inculcate key 21st century skills and plan their lessons such that it is not just about the what but also the why and how of learning. This Program will help equip teachers with the necessary skills to handle all these aspects and more.

The content will cover essential elements that any Educator needs to know and will not be specific only to what Ekya Schools use.

Ekya Schools is always on the lookout for great educators and completion of the course would be a great stepping stone in understanding the scope of a teacher's role at Ekya. Upon successful completion of the course, you can apply for teaching positions for the next academic year and part-time positions for the current year at Ekya.
