and Citation

EIS uses the MLA style of citation and referencing so try to learn it and stick to it. We have chosen this style for its simplicity.

What is expected of me?

Think about the purpose of citation and referencing. It is to acknowledge the work, creativity and ideas of others. So sharing the source of information you have used is not only adhering to 'the rules', it is morally correct and simple good manners! This is what we call academic integrity.

Citation Wizards

Once you know and understand how citations work, it is sensible to employ a citation software or site, to make referencing easier and less time consuming. However, you must remember to select MLA from the list of referencing styles. See the selection below. Easy Bib is by far the most popular of these.
