Sport for Life Program


Sport for life is a program being offered at Clover Bar Junior High School and is open to students in grades 7 to 9. The program gives students the chance to enhance their skills in both athletics and academics, while also developing habits and attitudes for an active and healthy lifestyle.

The Sport for Life program is based on the Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) model, a movement to improve the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada through improved athlete training and better integration between all stakeholders in the sport system, including sport organizations, education, recreation and health.

Engagement in Physical Activities for Life

To expose students to a variety of sport and recreation activities in school—cultivating their athletic skill and leadership qualities.


The goal: For all students to develop a lifelong active and healthy lifestyle.
