EIL Volunteer Roles in Ireland
EIL Board - apply to become a member of the EIL Board. The work of EIL Intercultural Learning is overseen by a Board of 10 volunteers who meet on a regular basis throughout the year. All members of the Board have previously participated on EIL programmes and do not receive any payments or emoluments for their work. Board members are elected each year by the members of EIL.
GEC (Global Education Committee) - apply to become part of the GEC and help develop and organise training workshops, network weekends, GCA issues and general EIL. Development Education at EIL is delivered by a devoted group of EIL returned Volunteers who are supported by EIL Staff and the Global Citizen Award Coordinator. EIL's Development Education work is intended to create a platform for EIL network members to explore themes of global justice and continue to share that message with peers in their own communities, families and networks.
