Jesus,
Let me compete with virtue.
Grant me prudence in decisions, temperance in emotion,
justice in action, and fortitude in challenge.
If I succeed, keep me humble.
If I fall short, let me respond with grace.
May I honor you by respecting coaches, teammates, officials and opponents alike.
Remind me that sport is growth, not just of skill, but of character.
And when I lead, let it be by your example,
Both on and off the court.
