General movement and fitness principles
For students who want to be physically active
ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE
9, 10, 20, 30
This co-ed course emphasizes regular participation in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that promote healthy active living. Students will learn movement skills and principles, ways to improve physical and mental fitness and physical competence.
SPORT TRAINING
10, 20, 30
This co-ed course is intended to provide advanced cross sport training and conditioning opportunities for students to enhance their individual skill set across a variety of sports. Students will experience personalized multi-sport resistance training programs under the guidance of strength coaches from Cross Conditioning. Overall, this will give students an advantage to help them find their next level as an athlete.
For existing athletes that want to add more training and conditioning
For students who want to pursue more/are interested in depth training and conditioning opportunities
SPORTS MEDICINE
10, 20, 30
This exciting co-ed program provides students with the opportunity to learn various aspects of athletic injuries and professions related to sports medicine. Students will increase their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and injury management. Practical course components will include taping, first aid/CPR, and pre/rehabilitation exercises.
For students interested in pursuing fitness and health as a career
PILATES
10, 20, 30
This unique co-ed course gives students the opportunity to progress their personal fitness and wellness by offering training modalities that will complement the fitness or sport training they are already actively involved in. Students will explore ways to improve their balance, mobility, coordination, and flexibility in order to release muscle tension and gain a holistic understanding of wellness that promotes the skills and discipline needed to be healthy and active for their entire lives.
