Behavioral Health Treatment Services
Β Performcare is the Contract Administrator for the New Jersey Children's System of Care.Β Contact the hotline shown below for immediate assistance, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.Β All children under the age of 21 are eligible for services.Β An Access Clinician will obtain information from you regarding the problem you're experiencing, discuss treatment alternatives, and schedule an initial appointment with a Licensed Behavioral Healthcare Provider who will conduct a thorough assessment to determine a plan of action.Β Β
Performcare can be utilized in a variety of situations, ranging from seeking a mental health provider appointment, to a crisis. Please view below for more details! In a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

Suicide Awareness
Suicide is a MAJOR public health concern, as it is a leading cause of death.Β Within the past five years, the suicide rate has increased from the 3rd leading cause of death among youth ages 15-24.Β It is now SECOND ONLY to accidental death.Β Please see below for important information regarding prevention and response.
Substance Abuse
24% of adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 have tried illicit drugs.Β Β
86% of teenagers know someone who smokes, drinks or uses drugs DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.Β
