A Little Bit About ME!

• Hometown - I grew up in Park City, MT and graduated with a class of 25 students.
• Family - I got married in October of 2017 to my husband, Cale. We lived in Billings for the past year and are very excited to be new in the Helena area! My parents and 3 younger siblings still live in the Billings area and keep very busy. One of my brothers works as an electrical apprentice while the other is going to be a senior in high school this year. My little sister is in middle school and will be starting her 8th grade year in August.
• Pets - My husband and I have 3 crazy fur balls that we love to have around. Our 2 dogs (Taz and Kai) love to be outside and are extremely fond of people. Our cat (Ike) is a cuddler but can get a bit feisty at times.
• Education - I graduated high school in 2013 and continued my education at Montana State University Billings where I earned degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics with a teaching option. In the fall of 2017 I started my first teaching job in 4th grade at Shepherd Elementary School and will be starting my 2nd year of teaching at East Valley Middle School as the 6th grade math teacher! :D
• Interests - MATH! I get so excited when there's a good math problem or puzzle to take on. Call me a nerd, but I find it invigorating to challenge the mind and see what it can do. SPORTS! Growing up I was always active in some type of sport. In middle school and high school I competed in volleyball, basketball and track & field. In college I continued to play in intramurals while also officiating volleyball and basketball. And as I began teaching I was able to share my passion of those sports with others through coaching! :) FAMILY & FRIENDS! If I'm not at the school teaching or out coaching, you can find me hanging out with my family and friends. We love to spend time outdoors...especially in the summer where we can be out on the lake!
