Employability Card

What is it?

The Employability Card is an actual card. It's a rigid plastic card like a debit card or loyalty card you probably have in your wallet. It acts as evidence that you have met the CHCC standards for work readiness.

How do I earn it?

To be eligible, a student must produce evidence of proficiency in all six core employability categories: communication, teamwork, problem solving, self-direction, dependability, and attitude. Evidence must include, but is not limited to, a written or recorded reflection and a recommendation for each indicator. Your reflection demonstrates that you know that you have this skill. A reflection must include your assessment of "before and after" and explain how you gained and applied the skill. The recommendation demonstrates that your skill is visible and evident to others. The recommendation must come from someone qualified to witness and assess your skill.

Reflections and recommendations can be written or recorded (audio or video).

All indictors must have a minimum of two supporting artifacts as well.
