Demonstrating Proficiency

You can demonstrate proficiency for each indicator by producing a body of evidence.

The body of evidence must include, but is not limited to, a reflection and a recommendation.

Your reflection demonstrates that you know you have this skill. A reflection must include your assessment of "before and after" and explain how you gained and applied the skill successfully. Reflections may address more than one indicator, when appropriate. Reflections may be written or recorded (audio or video).

The recommendation demonstrates that your skill is visible and evident to others. The recommendation must come from someone qualified to witness and assess your skill. Recommendations may address more than one indicator, when appropriate. Recommendations may be written or recorded (audio or video)

Additionally, all indictors must have a minimum of two supporting artifacts. (Click the artifact link for examples)

Bodies of evidence should be complied in a folder on GoogleDrive and shared with your program instructor. When you are ready for a body of evidence to be evaluated simply let your instructor know.

Students are eligible for the CHCC Employability Card when they have an approved body of evidence for each of the performance indicators in the six core employability areas, have completed a mock interview, and have a current resume. The final decision to award the Employability Card will be made by the program instructor and CHCC Director, Mr. Demar.
