Class is too short on Monday to use the textbooks. Went through PowerPoint, did not do notetaking worksheet, reading essentials or classwork worksheets, did Health Triangle Activity, Discussed in class about Social and Mental emotional part of activity. Still need to discuss where they put the physical pictures in the activity.
DAY 5 - 6
Re-Do the 1.1 Health Triangle Activity in small groups on the computer.
Discuss the Health Triangle Picture Activity and where pictures should fit.
Students work with a partner to complete.
Discuss Answers after complete.
Paragraph Activity on own paper:
"Write a paragraph about why each person is responsible for his own health, and why is this important?"
If extra time, have students create their own scenario from the first page of the classwork worksheets and trade with their partner.
DAY 7 - 8
Discuss Bellringer questions/answers
Module 1, Lesson 2 (What Affects Your Health)
10 Minute read of text on Google Classroom.
Students will fill out Notetaking Worksheet as we go through the 1.2 PowerPoint in front of class.
Discuss things that influence us and our decisions and make a list on the board.
Fire Drill at the end of this period (Period 2 / 9:30am)
Did not get to the Analyzing Influences Activity. May do on Monday possibly?
Have students get into small groups of 3 and have them do the Analyzing Influences Activity together.
Have some groups share their influences worksheet.
If extra time, go through the Classwork Worksheets together as a class to find the correct answers.
