The main purpose of the FAFSA is to award federal aid to students who demonstrate financial need. To qualify for federal FAFSA money, you must meet the following requirements: Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible noncitizen.
The DREAM application is unique to California promoting access to all students regardless of immigration status and/or documentation.
The MALDEF Scholarship Resource Guide is a free, informative resource guide for students, parents, and educators with an extensive list of scholarships, including many that do not inquire about immigration status.
