Nurse-Family Partnership works by having specially trained nurses regularly visit young, first-time moms-tobe, starting early in the pregnancy, continuing through the child’s second birthday.

Sutter TPP

Sutter Medical Center's program reaches out to Sacramento County teens who are pregnant or parenting. Teens work with a case manager who provides guidance and resources. 

Sac Valley Women's Health

Licensed community clinic, with services provided by medical personnel and patient advocates. Operates a standing clinic and mobile clinic with free pregnancy testing, free STD testing, free ultrasounds and more. Support for fathers offered as well.

Black Mothers United

Black Mothers United is a comprehensive program offering pregnancy support and case management services. Services include Doula care, lactation support, and support groups.

Car Seat Services & Safety Tips

Car seat classes and checkup appointments are available in English and Spanish for parents and caregivers that want to be sure their car seat is installed correctly.  

Chicks in Crisis

Assists pregnant and parenting teens, women, and dads of all ages to stay in school, manage family size, and pursue secondary education or vocational training. Addresses the critical need for diapers and offers material assistance, guidance, and resources.

EGACE

This program provides a variety of services to prepare you for continued education or training that will lead to employment in high demand occupations with career and promotional opportunities
