EGUSD funds GATE testing and supports enrichment opportunties for students who are motivated to extend their knowledge and explore new interests with like-minded students. At the elementary school level, schools strive to extend these opportunities to as many students as possible. Here at Sunrise we have some incredible teachers who offer before or after school enrichment clubs. These teachers communicate directly with families of the grade levels they offer the clubs to and will be sure GATE identified students have priority, if space is limited.
If you are unfamiliar with GATE, please take a look at this flyer from EGUSD Gate Coordinators Alicia Canning and Sharon Zizak-Iverson.
Here is a recorded information session about GATE here at Sunrise.

The 25-26 school year opportunites will be announced by mid-Fall.
New club opportunity coming soon.
