Service Learning 

One of the pillars of NEHS is Service.
The student who serves…

• Upholds school pride and contributes to a positive school community.

• Volunteers time and effort through activities such as Scouts, church or community 

Students in NEHS will be expected to complete at least 25 service hours by the end of their 6th grade year. Hours logs MUST be turned in NO LATER than April 3, 2026. Late forms will NOT be accepted. 

Students will also have an opportunity to earn the Presidential Volunteer Award if they earn 50 service hours or more! If earned, student will receive a pin and certificate during their promotion.
