Our next meeting will be October 6 in room E2!
The Stone Lake Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, responsibility, leadership, and a commitment to service. Membership in NEHS is both an honor and a responsibility.
To remain in good standing and earn the NEHS promotion cord, members must meet the following expectations:
Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (after each trimester).
Grades will be reviewed at the end of each trimester to ensure ongoing eligibility.
Attend at least 80% of NEHS meetings during the school year.
Actively participate in NEHS activities, service projects, and events (earning 25 service hours by April 3, 2026).
Members must consistently exemplify the following:
Scholarship – Maintain high academic standards, demonstrate curiosity and a love of learning.
Responsibility – Follow through on commitments, meet deadlines, and act with integrity.
Service – Contribute to the school and community through volunteerism and acts of kindness.
Leadership – Inspire and guide others through positive example, teamwork, and initiative.
Failure to meet the academic, attendance, or pillar expectations may result in removal from NEHS.
Students who remain in good standing throughout their membership will receive their NEHS cord to wear during promotion.
