The library provides materials and services to support the academic and general interest needs of the students, faculty and staff of Pleasant Grove High School.
Students may check out textbooks with the 5 Star App, StudentVue app, or a Student ID card.
Students are responsible for the exact textbook copies issued to them if they are lost or damaged.
Carefully check condition of each text. Please report existing damage to library staff within 7 days of check out. Only library staff may make damage notes in textbooks.
Students with overdue textbooks or fines will be placed on the No Activities list until all items are returned, replaced, or paid.
Fines will be assessed at current replacement cost for lost or damaged textbooks.
Damage that results while a book is lost is the responsibility of the student to whom the text is checked out.
Refunds will be issued for textbooks and library materials that are returned after payment is received.
If you lose your textbook there are options to either pay for the textbook at the district price or purchase a replacement copy.
Do:
Keep your books clean and dry
Avoid carrying liquid in backpacks
Write your name in ink in the designated area on the inside front cover
Keep your textbook in your possession at all times.
Always treat your textbooks with care, covering them is the best way to avoid damage
Don't:
Don’t use sticky book covers, or tape covers to book
Don’t leave textbooks in a classroom, share with others, or leave them unattended-students are still financially responsible for textbooks left in the classroom
Don’t throw or drop textbooks or Chromebooks
Don't bend covers back or break spines of textbooks
Don't write or highlight inside your textbook
