Mrs. Partington is a writer, librarian, and book critic. She is a board member of the National Book Critics Circle and a frequent contributor to Alta Journal. Her writing and interviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications.
Since 2002, Mrs. Partington has been an educator in the Elk Grove Unified School District. She has served as a dance teacher, English teacher, AVID teacher, Independent Study teacher, Performing Arts Department Chair, and AVID Program Coordinator. Mrs. Partington has taught grades 7-12, including Technology and Digital Arts Academy English and AP English Literature. She teaches literary journalism at UCLA Extension's Writers Program. Mrs. Partington holds a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Davis, and an MFA in Fiction from the University of California, Riverside. She is credentialed in English, PE, and Teacher Librarianship.

Ms. Cordery has a lifelong love of books, and a huge passion for learning. She is a new addition to the school, but a frequent visitor and proponent of the public library system. Reading has always been a crucial part of her life, and she is always looking for new book recommendations of any genre. In her free time, she also enjoys journaling, hiking, and baking. At this time, she is studying history with a specific focus on the medieval era. Ms. Cordery is dedicated in giving her best efforts to making the library a great environment to be in.
