The adults on the campus of LCHS are committed to making great things possible for all of our students. The expectation of all faculty and staff on this campus is that you, as a young adult, will work hard to learn the lessons presented in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the various co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
It is the expectation that you will do your best every day in ALL your academic studies. Your best effort can be measured by your completing all your homework, asking teachers clarifying questions when needed, and demonstrating an academic intellect that is your utmost best. Our program, Be Cardinal RED!, expects all students to be “Respectful, Engaged, & Dedicated”. These expectations support the rigorous academic expectations at Laguna Creek High School. Meeting the demands of a rigorous curriculum is hard work and difficult at times. It is my hope that you will view this challenge as being worthwhile and rewarding.
Beyond academics, it is expected that you will take advantage of the many fine co-curricular and extra-curricular activities available. Students at LCHS can become involved in athletics, visual and performing arts programs, and the vast array of student clubs. In whatever you choose to do, take the opportunity to become a leader by making a difference for yourself and others.
Choose to be involved! Choose to be a leader! Choose to make a difference!
I look forward to working with you this school year.
Sincerely,
Doug Craig, Principal
