Dance 1
Welcome to Dance 1. This course is designed to introduce dancers to various dance genres. Units within this class may include: Hip Hop, Contemporary, Street Jazz, Latin Fusion, East Coast/West Coast Swing, Musical Theatre, Modern/Interpretive dance, and an introduction to Freestyle/Improvisation.
Throughout this class you will work with others while perfecting your own artistry and dance technique. Each unit you have the opportunity to create movement to make the dance your own.
You will also have the chance to have a few master classes during the class to mix things up and allow you to try to learn choreography at a faster pace.
Below you will be able to access the syllabus, dance workbook, and other resource materials that will help you to be successful this year.
