GETA Leadership
In this group students lead and help to manage the inner-workings of GETA including fundraising, designing media, and organizing events. They also create Newsletters that show the community and Academy Partners what GETA's been up to.
Solar Regatta
Solar Regatta
In this club students form a team to design, create, and race a solar boat. Used to compete in the Annual SMUD Solar Regatta Race with other High Schools and Colleges.
Satellite Rocketry
Satellite Rocketry
In this club students learn skills, from basic soldering demonstrations all the way to building a satellite that can be communicated to using radio technology. In partnership with Twiggs Space Labs, EG Florin Amateur Radio, and Advanced Ag.
Hydrogen Grand Prix
Hydrogen Grand Prix
Students build an RC car and learn how hydrogen fuel cells work to power it. These skills are used in the annual Mirai Hydrogen Grand Prix to compete with other cars in a race of endurance. More Info...
