Sacramento Public Library Teen Programing

The Public Library has some programs for teens that students might be interested in.

Pit Stop- every 2nd Wednesday from 3:30 – 4:30 PM for fun activities, games, snacks, and space to hang with old friends and make new ones.

Family Movie Time- watch a family-friendly movie and do a fun craft inspired by the movie every 3rd Friday from 4 – 6 PM—unless rescheduled to accommodate the Book Fair. This month is Coco (2017).

Life After High School-This is a series of free workshops for teens meant to bolster important life skills for Life After High School. Each month’s workshop covers something new. Here’s our line-up of workshops so far:

Saturday, September 12th from 12 – 2 PM | Personal Finance

Saturday, October 3rd from 12 – 2 PM | Personal Branding

Saturday, November 7th from 3 – 5 PM | STEAM College & Career Fair

This fair is planned by our teen STEAM committee!

Saturday, November 14th from 3 – 5 PM | Meal Planning on a Budget

Around the World with the Library-All ages can join at The Center at District56 to celebrate diverse cultures from across the globe through crafts, dance performances, fun activities and games, and more.

Teen Advisory Board!-every 2nd Fri & 4th Wed from 4 – 5 PM. These meetings are hybrid, so teens are welcome to attend either in person or virtually, but they’ll need to email me for the link to join virtually.

Our Teen Advisory Board directors meet either 1st or 4th Fridays.
