FRES
6th Grade Mission Springs Field Trip
Parent/Guardian To-Do List:
Before Sunday 10/1
Review the packing list, to avoid shopping last minute
Sunday 10/1
What to Pack:
One Backpack: The backpack is the only bag you will have access to while on the bus, so please pack your lunch and any bus items in your backpack.
Waterbottle in backpack
One Duffel bag: All clothing, toiletries, and shoes should fit into your single duffel bag. The ground is rocky and there are stairs so a duffel bag is best.
One Bedding bag: We recommend using an XL trash bag. Your sleeping bag or heavy comforter, blanket, and pillow all need to fit into this bag. Please tape your first and last name to the outside.
One extra garbage bag: Please pack an extra bag to re-pack items for the trip home.
**We do not recommend students pack cell phones. Students are unable to use their cell phone once they arrive to camp and throughout the week. Teachers in charge communicate with FRES office staff consistently from the time the bus leaves to the time the bus arrives back at school. **
Monday 10/2
Please have your child eat breakfast before arriving at school.
Pack one sack lunch in your backpack. We will eat sack lunches before arriving at Mission Springs. All other food will be provided by Mission Springs.
Arrive at school at normal time with all bags packed and labeled with your first and last name.
You can be dropped off at the blue gates in front of our classrooms today only.
If you are late and we cannot make contact, we will leave without you.
We will load the buses at 8:20 am, and we will leave as soon as everyone is loaded.
Thursday 10/5
Plan to pick up your child from Foulks Ranch at 3:00 pm. We will send an ETA via Talking Points when we leave Natural Bridges State Park and when we are an hour out.
Friday 10/6
Friday is a school day. We understand your child will be tired from a fun week at camp. Please help encourage student attendance as we will ease them back into a Friday after a week at camp.
Thank you for your help making this trip possible!
