Elk Grove Civic Summer is a 5-week summer program that explores the fascinating world of public service for EGUSD high school students. Participants get to cultivate interests, awaken their passion for advocacy, and find their voice.
Students will hear from community leaders, participate in an internship at a public agency, engage in skills building activities, and have an opportunity to present at a City Council meeting. Participants receive 10 credits (non-paid) and juniors will be eligible to receive the prestigious State Seal of Civic Engagement.
