Participation, Committee meetings, & Program of Activities

The purpose of our events and activities is to promote collaboration and leadership skills.  The program of activities below lists the various events, which are subject to change.  Students are expected to earn upwards of 20 participation points by the end of the first semester.  Those points rollover into 2nd semester for a total of 40 points by the end of 2nd semester.  Each monthly all BA meetings are 2 points.  Each committee meeting is 1 point (attend as many as you like).  Various ad hoc meetings for projects and fundraisers will be publicized on the Program of Activities (see below).  Every Monday, students can earn 1 participation point by wearing BA swag, supporters of our field (e.g., Vitalant blood drive shirts, full scrubs (top & bottom)), or local healthcare provider logo'd clothing (e.g., Kaiser Permanente), Dignity Health, UC Davis, Mercy Medical Group).  Participation accounts for 10% of students' grades.
