UC Davis Anesthesiology Department Visit to PGHS ON wEDNESDAY, oCTOBER 11, 2023

Project Lead The Way partners with the California Society of Anesthesiologists and the UC Davis Anesthesiology Department to provide unique and indelible learning experiences.

Stop The Bleed

Friday October 13, 2023

On Friday, October 13, 2023, Biomedical Academy students learned basic first aid of stopping the bleeding by applying pressure, packing wounds, and applying a tourniquet. Thank you to Dignity Health representatives James Amentler and Jessica Brook for your time.

Youth Action Project

November 9, 2023

On Thursday, November 9, 21 Biomedical Academy seniors facilitated middle school students to identify a problem on their campus that they would like to address and solve.

Twelfth grade Biomedical Academy students created posters for each of the middle schools.

UC Davis Teen biotech challenge

The Teen Biotech Challenge is an online poster design competition that allows students to demonstrate research skills, scientific communication skills, and creativity. Participating students will be asked to submit a poster (.pdf) for judging in one of the following biotech-related research categories:TBC
