Senior Project is an opportunity for Career Exploration.
Step 1: Brainstorm ideas for your project. What are your passions? College and/or career interests? What are you curious about?
Step 2: Find a mentor. Ask a person who has expertise in a field, career, or discipline of interest to you.
Steps 3: Complete the necessary paperwork to get your project approved.
Step 4: Once approved, begin your 20 hours of Fieldwork. Complete four (4) journals during your Fieldwork. Keep records and document the tasks you performed, the skills you learned, any challenges you encountered and how you handled those challenges . Reflect on your experience.
Step 5: Write an academic research paper on a question of your choice related to the career you chose to explore.
Step 6: Present your project before a panel of judges.
