My name is Paula Devine and I have been teaching physical education in East Grand Forks since 1986. I am a Graduate of Bemidji State University and certified in both Physical Education K-12; and English Education 7-12. I also hold a masters Degree in Physical Education from the University of North Dakota.

During my time in the school district, I have taught both middle school and high school Physical Education classes including weight training, and wellness classes. I have been a head Green Wave coach of four different sports, completing over 50 seasons.

My philosophy in teaching all my classes is one of promoting fitness and activity for a lifetime. For example, I teach such sports and activities such as golf, tennis, curling, softball, volleyball, pickleball, weight training and Frisbee golf. I have also created two new classes; Intro to Officiating and Intro to Coaching.

I am married and have three daughters and three step-daughters and three granddaughters. I love spending time with family and friends, especially at the Lake where I golf, hunt, fish, paddle board and pontoon.
