Water Pollution And how it affects you:

You! Yes you! Hallway bypasser, where do you get your water from? Do you care? No? Well…. You should. It’s been discovered that 176 state waterways in the grand old NY have been contaminated with one or more of many dangerous chemicals that will affect nearly 16 million citizens. One of which, perfluorooctanoic acid (no that wasn't a typed sneeze) has been rising dramatically across these reservoirs. This is the type of chemical you’d commonly find in industrial garbage, fire suppressant foam, and nonstick cooking products. I don't know about you, but that sounds like drinking some liquid death, and I say with relative certainty that most of you would rather not indulge in this. But what do you do? Well, you can filter your own water, verify the safety and quality of the water you drink, or simply continue destroying your health. Choice is yours y’all, more knowledge bombs on the way soon.
