Eng 12

As soon-to-be voting citizens, seniors should begin to develop a clearer understanding of the important role they play in shaping our country's future through political engagement. As students learn about the American government and economic systems in their social studies classes, they will explore the implications of those systems and competing ideologies through literary works that highlight the triumph and flaws of both. The goal will be for students to have a clear understanding of how our country's government and economic systems have developed, grown, and changed over time, as well as the best steps to be taken to ensure a stable, fair political and economic atmosphere for all American citizens, in accordance with the ideals that were laid out by the Founding Fathers.
