Thanks for checking out the website! At the top of the header, you will see the different subject areas, with links to access the curriculum. All the supplies your child will need will be in their materials bag during textbook pick up.
I am very excited to have you in our classroom and look forward to working with you to create a successful school year full of academic and personal growth. Look out for the weekly updates (on Fridays) for current announcements, upcoming events, and upcoming lessons in the Class Newsletter tab.

We ask for your support in helping every student meet these guidelines while on google meet:
Be on time for learning.
*Log on 5 minutes before meeting time. Daily attendance will be taken.
*Find a quiet space where you can concentrate and pay attention with all supplies available.
Be dressed for school.
Video is on with student’s face visible.
Eat during break time and not during a google meeting.
Mute your computer.
If you have a question, post it in the chat. Or if you have questions or comments, raise your hand and wait until I tell you to unmute
and then you may begin to talk.
Use the chat button appropriately.
*Use it to ask questions.
*Use it to respond to questions asked by your teacher.
*Chat is not a place to say hello or to have personal conversations.
Participate and enjoy!
It will be difficult to reward students for good behavior beyond verbal praise and positive feedback, but I will try my best to acknowledge good behavior regularly and make special efforts to let your child know they are doing awesome!
Consequences:
Verbal warnings
Parent notification
Principal intervention
Dismissal from google meet classes

This year we will be sending home several Book Club orders. These Book Clubs offer some excellent choices in children's literature every month. We encourage you to look over the monthly Book Club order forms and select a book or two (or as many as you would like) to purchase for your child. This will help encourage your child's love of reading. The children really get excited when the mailman delivers our Book Club orders and they receive their own copy of a favorite book! Browse all the great monthly club selections at low prices and order online, all while helping our classroom earn FREE books!
Here's how it works online:
1. Sign up at: www.Scholastic.com/bookclubs. On the parent page, click the "Don't have a User Name and Password?" link, then register for your own username and password. When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code: GTWPR. This code ensures that your order is sent to me.
2. Select the books you'd like to order from over 500 titles available online, and take advantage of online-only specials and discounts. Browse titles with your child, and place your order with your credit card.
3. Send your order to me online by the due date. Books will be delivered directly to our classroom, generally 2-3 weeks after I send in all the orders. Your credit card payment will go directly to Scholastic's secure server. There's no need to send money to the school. Remember, placing your online credit card order is completely safe and secure.
Here's how it works in class:
1. Cut out the order form on the back of the Book Club and fill it out completely with your child's name.
2. Send all book order forms together in one envelope.
3. Enclose a CHECK made out to Scholastic Book Clubs. Make one check for all orders, even if you are ordering from multiple catalogs.
Have fun reading these books with your child. An added bonus is that based on the number of books purchased, teachers will be allowed to choose several free books for classroom use with the bonus points earned. Thank you for your orders!
